Spanish Brief Version of the Pregnancy Related Anxiety Questionnaire: PRAQ-20

The aim of this study is to obtain a Spanish brief version the Pregnancy Related Anxiety Questionnaire and analyse its psychometric properties. A longitudinal was carried out on sample 569 pregnant women with normal risk status. Participants were assessed in first, second, third trimesters pregnancy by using socio-demographic obstetric-gynaecological questionnaire, PRAQ-55, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, State-Trait Inventory. PRAQ-55 items factorial loads > .50 selected resulting final scale 20 items. cut-off point ≥ 67 (85th percentile) used identify high pregnancy-specific anxiety. findings revealed that PRAQ-20 can be considered useful screening tool clinical practice assess pregnancy-related anxiety both nulliparous multiparous women.
